Boat Trip Activities

The Braveheart boat trip activities range from sight seeing, bird watching, fishing for cod or mackerel, scuba diving, photography, or a trip around the Firth of Forth islands.

It is possible to catch the following in the Firth of Forth – cod, ling, mackerel, pollock, coalfish, plaice, flounder and wrasse and we are the only boat in the area to provide fishing trips geared to all levels of experience all year round. We can provide rods, bait and tuition on fishing either for mackerel or cod. Mackerel come into the Firth of Forth about June until end of September and fishing for them is a great family entertainment or fun for a hen or stag day out! You can also try hauling a lobster creel if you would like to see what is involved in catching lobsters.

Photographic trips are popular to try to captivate all the wonderful wildlife of the area. Also, scuba diving or drift diving along the front of Craigleith or the Bass Rock to observe the flora and fauna underwater.
